For a more tranquil experience, try snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in Rocky Mountain National Park. And don’t forget to relax in the natural hot springs of Glenwood Springs after a day in the cold.

Head to Buena Vista for a quintessential camping experience, or challenge yourself with a climb up one of Colorado’s 14ers—peaks over 14,000 feet tall.
If you want to try some paddle boarding check out Blue Mesa Reservoir, the largest lake in Colorado, or even the Colorado River. Depending on your preference and skill level, you can choose between flat water paddling or more adventurous whitewater sections on the Colorado River.
Autumn Adventures
Fall in Colorado is a feast for the eyes. The changing aspen leaves create a breathtaking tapestry of gold and red.
Scenic drives through the San Juan Skyway or hiking in the Aspen groves of Kebler Pass offer unforgettable views. The Million Dollar Highway is a spectacular 25-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 550 that connects the towns of Silverton and Ouray in southwestern Colorado. The road can be challenging with its sharp turns and steep drop-offs.
