Refund & Return Policy

At Outbound FOLK, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below. This policy applies to all physical goods purchased directly from the Outbound FOLK website and shipped within the United States.

Return Timeframe

  • You have 14 calendar days from the original purchase date to postmark your return shipment.
  • Returns postmarked after this 14-day period will not be accepted. We recommend keeping proof of postage.

 

Eligibility for Return

  • Items must be unused, in the same condition that you received them, and preferably in their original packaging.
  • Only regular-priced items are eligible for return.
  • Sale items (items marked as ‘Sale’ or purchased during a promotional sale event) are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Returns are only accepted for orders shipped within the United States.

 

How to Return an Item

  1. Contact Us: Please contact our customer service team at hello@outboundfolk.com or via our contact form to initiate a return. Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
  2. Package Your Item: Securely pack the item(s) you are returning.
  3. Ship Your Return: Ship the package to the return address provided by our customer service team.

 

Return Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for paying all shipping costs associated with returning an item.
  • Original shipping costs (if any) are non-refundable.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Outbound FOLK is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

 

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification confirming its receipt.
  • We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund based on the item’s condition and eligibility criteria (including the postmark date).
  • If your return is approved, your refund will be processed. There are no restocking fees.
  • A full refund of the item’s purchase price (in USD) will be issued to your original method of payment. Please allow 10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

 

Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • If you received an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us immediately at hello@outboundfolk.com with your order number and photos of the issue. We will work with you to resolve the problem promptly, which may include covering return shipping costs in these specific circumstances.

 

Exchanges

  • We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you wish to exchange an item, please return the original item following the process outlined above (if eligible) and place a new order for the desired item.
